Mushroom Compost

Mushroom compost is made up of organic materials such as mushroom, hay, straw, corn cobs and hulls, and poultry or horse manure. Mushroom compost improves texture and structure of the soil and the negative effects of mulching. It prevents the soil from compacting and also promotes positive bacterial and fungal growth in the soil. This is a great alternative to mulch! Mushroom compost prevents birds from eating the freshly planted seeds.
